Dan's 5 Tips For The KLM Open

Tue 06th September, 2011

Each way return! - Bookies who offer each way payments to Top 6 players would have seen a return again this week with Lee Westwood finishing Tied 6th. A £10 stake would have returned £17.50.

It was an extremely close week last week and could have been so much better with Jiminez and Noren both finishing T-9th and Edoardo Molinari T-12th, both 1 and 2 strokes off a top 6 finish. This week is the KLM Open in Holland and it has attracted another fantastic field, including Martin Kaymer, Rory McIlroy and Lee Westwood and im finding it incredibly difficult to look beyond these after their performances last week but at 8\1 each they dont offer great value. So i will look further afield for some each way bets.

Martin Kaymer - 8/1
The defending champion showed some great form last week and if it wasnt for Thomas Bjorn's super 62 in the final round he would have been victorious. Hasn't quite kicked on like we all thought when he reached number 1 in the world, perhaps now is his time?

Simon Dyson - 25/1
Seems to be the man in form at the moment and looks like it will continue for a while.

Edoardo Molinari - 40/1
I have backed him the 2 weeks prior to this and he has finished just outside the top 10 both weeks, perhaps he can sneak into the top 5 this week. Definately a player on the up.

Joost Luiten - 40/1
The home favourite will hopefully be spurred on by the crowds, after a tied 15th last week is also carrying a bit of form. Opening rounds of 65 and 69 in this event last year proves that he knows how to go low round this track.

Pablo Larrazabal - 50/1
Struck the ball nicely last week but struggled with the putter. Hopefully can get it fired up this week.
