Dan's 5 Tips For The Alfred Dunhill Champs
Wed 16th November, 2011
This week is the Alfred Dunhill Championship in South Africa. While most of the top players are away playing in the Presidents Cup the rest of the European Tour will be battling out for valuable Euros leading up to the season ending Race to Dubai.
George Coetzee - 14/1
George is the pre-tournament favorite for a number of reasons; he has had 7 top 10 finishes this year, 2 of which have come in his last 3 starts. One of the most consistent performers this season and definitely worth a flutter in his home country.
Robert Rock - 18/1
Rocky finished Tied-8th here last season and after speaking with the man himself he seems fairly confident.
Jbe Kruger - 28/1
Finished in the top 10 last year and as another South African in his home land may be worth a shout.
Graeme Storm - 40/1
Stormy finished in a tie for 15th in Valderamma last month and appeared to be striking the ball well. Beginning to show some form. Is currently 200,00euros behind 60th place in the Race to Dubai so needs some strong finishes in the next few events.
Rafa Echinique - 100/1
Long odds for Rafa make him an outsider at an each way shot. Finished in the Top 30 in Valderamma but shot an impressive 69 in the final round which was one of the lowest rounds of the Sunday.
